I knew the first time that I experienced yachting in the Greek Islands that this was the industry I wanted to work in. Since then I have been immersed in the different aspects of yachting, honing my skills over the last 25 years across a raft of roles at Burgess Yachts to know every detail of what makes the perfect superyacht experience.
I am very proud that today I am one of a handful of female co-founders in the industry. When Neil and I established Yomira, it was based on taking a different, more experiential focused approach to chartering a superyacht. We often say ‘we zag a bit’ but as the industry continues to transform to even greater levels of experience and sophistication, we believe our client service should be at a higher standard and to offer a style that is engaging, honest and above all enjoyable. Add in the extensive knowledge of yachts, years of cruising experience we have and you have the ideal combination.
By taking the time to get to know our clients at a deeper, more insightful level, finding out their motivations for a holiday, where they might like to explore and to discover, how do they like to relax and much more; we have a deeper understanding of what we will be right for them. Matching the right yacht and crew is just the start, we consider every single detail to ensure our client’s time is for them, their family and their friends. It’s about putting the inspiration and excitement front and centre to create their bespoke superyacht experience. We call this the ‘Yomira Time’, when time is completely designed around our clients. It is a formula that clearly resonates, as the high level of repeat business demonstrates.
There is nothing more satisfying to us than when a client calls after a charter and simply says – ‘thank you, you got that spot on.’
