I first caught the yachting bug when I was tempted by a good friend to head to Sardinia and race at the Swan World Regatta, armed with just a youthful taste for adventure.
By the time I eventually returned home, I had sailed from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean and Australia on a range of amazing yachts. That was it, I was hooked and fell in love with the extraordinary excitement of yachting.
I began my professional career ashore as a broker in 1989 before going on to build the international charter teams at Camper & Nicholsons, Edmiston and Burgess, now some of the key players of the industry.
Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to witness the luxury superyacht industry grow from a niche pursuit to the global powerhouse it is today.
